The first collection from Lore - Alpine Wool, begins with wool from sheep raised in Austria and Germany. This fiber, once central to regional textile traditions, is now rarely used, and its careful handling depends on a network of people dedicated to preserving the craft.

All production takes place within the Alpine region, with partners located close to one another to maintain a transparent, traceable process.

Wagner Wolle (Tyrol, Austria): A family-owned spinning mill preserving generations of knowledge and historic machinery.

Ötztaler Schafwollzentrum Regensburger (Tyrol, Austria): The last wool-washing facility of its kind in Austria, cleaning wool with only soap and soda while maintaining high quality and care.

Heratex (Austria): Specializing in knitting and felting processes. JMB Fashion (Austria): Focused on garment finishing.

Bache Innovative (Germany): Local partner handling knitting and additional garment production.

By sourcing, washing, spinning, knitting, and finishing wool entirely in the Alpine region, Lore maintains close relationships with every producer, ensuring the continuity of a craft and a landscape that might otherwise disappear. The collection reflects this network of expertise and care, connecting the raw fiber, the people who work it, and the environment it comes from.
